We will undertake to maintain your payroll system. Our responsibility will include the calculations of net salaries due to the staff and deductions according to the relevant statutory requirements, namely EPF, SOCSO and the Inland Revenue Board. We will also ensure that the deductions together with the employer’s portion of the statutory contributions, where applicable, will be paid to the relevant statutory bodies before the due deadlines, subject to you providing us with the relevant payment five (5) working days before the due date.We will maintain the payroll system on our system based on information provided by you and we will issue the monthly pay slips in the relevant format. We will not be responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information provided by you for the purposes of preparing the payroll. Therefore, if you require us to transfer the relevant payments to the authorities and employees, please ensure that the relevant employer’s and employee’s portion of the salaries, EPF, SOCSO and PCB contributions are either credited into our designated bank account or the cheque payments are provided to us on a timely basis so that the relevant contributions can be paid without any delay. Please note that we will not be responsible for any delays from your end or by the banks.
As your tax agent, we will in respect of each of assessment prepare tax computations in accordance with the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1967 for submission to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB). We shall also assist the company in dealing with enquiries from the tax authorities and agreeing the tax computations for all the years of assessment. Our services would include registering the company and employee tax file with the Inland Revenue Board. We would also assist your company in preparing the company’s profit forecast for tax purposes.
We can also assist the directors and the expatriate employees (if any) of the Company in preparing and filing their personal tax returns and liaising with the tax authorities to ensure compliance with the local tax laws. We would also be prepared to provide advice and assistance to develop tax efficient compensation packages with respect to salaries and benefits-in-kind for the directors. As a general rule, our professional charges will be based on the degree of responsibility and skill involved and the necessary time incurred on the job. We would be pleased to present you a separate proposal as and when you may require this service.
